Managing Attorney

Jennifer focuses her law practice in the area of family law. Jennifer was born and raised in Central California. She earned dual bachelor degrees from the University of California, Irvine. Immediately following, Jennifer attended Whittier School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate.

During law school, Jennifer clerked for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, the Orange County Superior Court (Ex Parte Department), and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California. Upon relocating to Washington in 2010, Jennifer began practicing family law and has remained dedicated to it ever since.

Over the last 16 years, Jennifer has built a reputation among her colleagues that is without reproach. She is known for her strong advocacy as well as her refined litigation and trial skills.

Smith Law Group represents clients in dissolutions and legal separations, dissolution of committed intimate relationships, spousal maintenance, child custody and parenting plans, child support, modification of child support and parenting plans, parentage actions, relocations, interstate jurisdiction and custody disputes, restraining orders, and domestic violence protection orders.

In her personal life, Jennifer enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, playing with her dogs, and gardening. She is an active member of the Thurston County Bar Association and the Washington State Family Law Section.
